GENERAL

The website maertert.csv.lu is the responsibility of the CSV, the Christian Social People’s Party, within the meaning of the European Data Protection Regulation. For the collection and use of data, we refer to and observe Art. 6. para. 1 lit. and of the EU Basic Data Protection Regulation.

The website is hosted in a data centre in Luxembourg and access to the website is via an SSL-secured connection (recognising that the address begins with “https”).

INFORMATION TO BE COLLECTED

We only collect personal data if you expressly consent to it. This varies depending on how you use the site

  • If you become a member and complete the membership application form, your personal data will be electronically stored, processed and used for internal party purposes, membership administration, information and maintenance. In this context, you will also be assigned an individual membership number. You will receive information from the party at regular intervals by post and e-mail. The data processing is carried out by the CSV General Secretariat. The officers (president, secretary, treasurer or new member officer) of the sub-organisations of which you are a member and of the local group of which you are a member will also be informed of your party membership and will be able to use this data in their party work within the framework of their mandates. For the execution of some very specific mandates in the context of the work of the General Secretariat and provided that there is a confidentiality agreement between the Party and these subcontractors, data may be disclosed to these third parties (sous-traitants). Upon termination of membership, your membership data will be deleted.
  • If you contact us via the contact form or by e-mail, the data you provide will be stored in order to answer your enquiry. As a matter of principle, we do not pass on your data to third parties, even if we are obliged to do so by law.

STORAGE OF IP ADDRESSES

For reasons of data security, anonymised IP addresses of visitors are stored for a limited period of time. It is stored which addresses were called up at which time and from which IP address. This data is stored for a fortnight and only the employees who take care of the administration of the server have access to it. Afterwards, they are encrypted and archived in the form of backups for a further three months.

TRANSFER OF DATA

The sites use various external services. For technical reasons, the IP address is then transferred to the respective service. These are:

  • YouTube from Google for videos
  • TypeKit from Adobe for fonts
  • Google Fonts from Google for fonts

Cookies

The maertert.csv.lu site uses cookies for statistical purposes and to store personal preferences (e.g. the last language chosen). In addition, a cookie is set as soon as you try to log in.

Videos loaded via YouTube also set cookies. We use a version of YouTube with higher data protection. This also sets cookies, but according to Google they are not needed for tracking purposes. SOCIAL MEDIA PLUGINS

When you click on a button with the text “Share” or “Tweet” on csv.lu, a new window opens on Facebook or Twitter. At that moment, Facebook or Twitter know from which page you can access it. If you do not click on these buttons, no data will be transmitted to these social networks.

LINKS TO EXTERNAL WEBSITES

On our website you will find links to third-party websites, after clicking on which we have no influence on how the provider processes your data. We do not accept any responsibility for the processing by third parties

YOUR RIGHTS

You have the right to know what data CSV has about you and why, and you can withdraw consent to the use of your data at any time. Thus, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, revocation and opposition.

If you believe that the use of your data violates data protection law, you can contact the CNPD (Commission nationale pour la protection des données).
